Police Investigating Rash of Vehicle Break-ins

A total of 18 vehicles were broken into during the month of February, according to police.

A total of 18 motor vehicles were broken into during the month of February. 

The break-ins occurred on Pier Street, Water Street, Cottage Avenue, Cedar Avenue, Douglas Avenue, President Avenue, Ann Avenue, Founders Avenue, Anson Drive, Robert Avenue, Birchwood Drive and on Gormley Avenue.

All of the vehicles were unlocked at the time. Electronics, including iPods and GPS's, and cash were reported to have been stolen from the vehicles. 

Anyone with information about the break-ins or to report suspicious activity should call Portsmouth detectives at 683-0994.
