Police Log: 3 Arrests Made in Past 3 Days
The following arrests were made by Portsmouth police since Friday, June 10.

The following three arrests were made in the past three days by Portsmouth police.
- , 25, of 203 Railroad Ave., Portsmouth, was arrested on Sunday, June 12, at 1 a.m. outside the Island Tap bar. Newbold was wanted on a bench warrant issued by Second District Court for failure to appear at a community service review. An officer patrolling at the Island Tap was aware of the warrant, police said. Newbold was arrested and later arraigned before a justice of the peace.
- Allan Rash, 50, of West Warwick, was arrested on Sunday, June 12, at 5:30 p.m., and charged with driving under the influence (DUI). Police responded to the area of Bristol Ferry Road at Boyd's Lane after receiving a report of an erratic operator. A vehicle operated by Rash was stopped just before the entrance to the Mt. Hope Bridge. Police say the operator apparently failed a field sobriety test at the scene and was later transported to a local hospital for a chemical test. He was held overnight and will be arraigned this morning.
- Steven White, 48, of 1625 East Main Road, Portsmouth, was arrested on Friday, June 10, at 10:15 p.m. White was charged with making domestic, harassing phone calls. Police received a complaint from a 49-year-old Portsmouth female, who told officers she was receiving harassing photo calls from White. When she asked him to stop, he allegedly continued. Police obtained an affidavit arrest warrant for White, who was arrested at his residence. He was held overnight before being arraigned before a justice of the peace.
