Portsmouth Firefighters Rescue Choking Victim

PORTSMOUTH, RI — Most times, rescue workers cannot tell the story about saving a person's life. Privacy laws have changed the type of information that can be divulged. But one woman gave the Portsmouth Fire Department permission to tell her story and use her name. She was able to enjoy Mother's Day dinner with her family but only because the Portsmouth firefighters saved her when she was choking. The Fire Department posted the story on Facebook.
