Portsmouth Library's "Taste of Portsmouth" Scheduled for Friday, 17 October
Meet, greet and eat at Portsmouth Free Public Library's Annual Fund Raising event!
The Portsmouth Free Public Library will be hosting its annual “Taste of Portsmouth” on Friday, 17 October at 7:00pm. We’ll have more than 20 local restaurants, breweries and vintners providing samples. This is the Town’s social event of the year: a good chance to sample some fine food and wine/beer and meet the town leaders and would-be leaders (It’s an election year!). Cost is $20 for Library Association Members and $25 for non-members. Tickets are available at the library.
Arguably the major social event of the year in Portsmouth, this event combines a cocktail-party atmosphere with tasty samples from our local food and drink purveyors. Come out and meet your elected officials and neighbors and help support this Portsmouth resource. The funds raised by this event helps to fund the many and varied programs offered by the library, which has become the cultural center of our town.
