Portsmouth Police Charge 3 with DUI

The following arrests were reported by Portsmouth Police. They do not indicate a conviction.

Portsmouth Police charged Erin Elizabeth Ryan, 19, of 41 Kaitlin Place, Portsmouth, with driving under the influence and refusing a chemical test July 26 at 3:15 a.m.

Police said they responded to the area of Park Avenue and Norseman Drive for a report of a disturbance.

During the investigation of a possible domestic incident, police said Ryan showed signs of being drunk and told them that she had just driven her car, which was parked “askew” on Norseman Drive, according to a police report.

Inside the car was a 12 ounce Rolling Rock in the center console, police said, and Ryan failed a field sobriety test. She later registered a .125 blood alcohol reading in a preliminary breath test at the scene. She later refused a chemical test at police headquarters.

She was released on personal recognizance and is due to appear in court on July 31.

On July 27, police charged Katrina Lee McIsaac, 28, of Lakeville, Mass., with driving under the influence and refusing a chemical test at 12:52 a.m.

Police said they were alerted to a Land Rover driving erratically on East Main Road and officers soon saw it driving 72 mph in a 50 mph zone.

Behind the wheel was McIsaac, who showed signs of being drunk after she was pulled over, police said.

She soon failed a field sobriety test and registered a .161 blood alcohol reading in a preliminary breath test at the scene.

She later refused a chemical test a police headquarters.

Along with the DUI and refusal charges, McIsaac was summonsed for speeding and a lane roadway violation.

Officers reported McIsaac said she had two drinks, a beer and a mixed drink before getting behind the wheel.

She was released later that morning on personal recognizance with a July 31 hearing in Second Division District Court.

Police charged Michael Russel Diogo, 26, of 17 Wilson St., Bristol, with driving under the influence and refusing a chemical test July 23 at 5:12 p.m.

Police said they stopped Diogo on West Main Road near Raytheon after Middletown Police alerted Portsmouth officers they were following him into Portsmouth.

Middletown officers said they saw Diogo leave the Shell gas station in their town and begin driving erratically towards Portsmouth.

Once stopped, Diogo reportedly failed a field sobriety test.

He was later released on personal recognizance with a July 23 court date.
