From June 1 to June 11, police charged eight people. Here is the information from the police log.

PORTSMOUTH, RI — From June 1 to June 11, police took two people into custody, due to outstanding warrants. Four suspects were charged with drunk driving. One person was arrested for fighting. One was given a summons for illegal dumping.
June 1
Timothy L. Hassan, 58, of Portsmouth, was charged at 9:51 p.m. with Tumultuous behavior (fighting). A resident said Hassan was outside his house yelling and trying to get inside.

June 3
Justin William Correiro, 42, of Fall River, Mass., was charged at 2:04 a.m. with Driving under the Influence, first offense. The arrest followed a car stop on Route 24 North at Cedar Island.

June 4
Kevin Ryan Taylor, 27, of Warwick, was taken into custody on a warrant at 11:22 a.m. He was a passenger in a car, which police stopped at 11:20 a.m. for speeding.
Tammy J. McConnell, 50, of Middletown, was charged with Driving under the Influence, first offense; Refusal to submit to a chemical test; and marijuana possession (1 ounce or less by a person over 18). The arrest followed a car stop at 2:41 a.m. on Route 24 North near Hummock Road.
June 6
Erica Greene Medley, 60, of Portsmouth, was arrested on a bench warrant at 8:13 p.m.
June 9
Olivia D. Dill, 18, of Middletown, was given a summons for illegal dumping at the Cumberland Farms, 1812 East Main Road. The store clerk alleged she saw Dill throw a bag in the store's trash receptacle around 11:32 a.m. The clerk took down the license plate number and called police.
June 10
Jonathan Graham O'Connell, 20, of Rehoboth, Mass., was charged at 7:14 a.m. with misdemeanor Driving under the Influence, first offense. The arrest followed a car stop at 6:56 a.m. on Middle Road and the Hilltop Farms area.
June 11
Sean Patrick Cunningham, 27, of Bellingham, Mass., was charged at 3:29 p.m. with Driving under the Influence, first offense; and cited for Refusal to take a chemical test. The arrest followed a car stop at 3:14 p.m. on East Main Road near Clements Market.
