Joseph Michael Baptista, 41, of Smithfield, was stopped at 11:49 p.m. on Route 24 North at Boyd's Lane and charged with Driving under the Influence, first offense.

Sept. 14

Carlos Enrique Fernandez Rosado, 25, of Newport, was stopped at 12:01 a.m. on West Main Road near Raytheon and charged with Driving under the Influence, first offense5

Sept. 14

Soilandro Rafael Disla, 25, of Middletown, was stopped at 1:05 a.m. on Boyd's Lane at Founders Brook Motel and taken into custody on a Superior Court bench warrant. Disla was also cited for Driving after license denial, suspension or revocation; and marijuana possession (1 oz. or less) by a person 18 or older.
