PORTSMOUTH, RI — Here are recent arrests and citations. Information comes from the police log. The period covered is Sept. 2 to Sept. 5.

Sept. 2

Duane Anthony Logan, 42, of Fall River, Mass., was stopped at 8:13 a.m. at Union Street and West Main Road and taken into custody on a bench warrant.

Scott Robert Rose, 39, of Portsmouth, was arrested at 12:37 p.m. at home on a Superior Court warrant.

Sept. 3

Shane Justin Mendonca, 28, of New Bedford, Mass., was stopped on Route 24 North at Boyd's Lane at 1:42 a.m. He was charged with Driving under the influence, first offense; and Refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Sept. 4

Timothy James Berry, 37, of Middletown was stopped at 12:15 a.m. on East Main Road at Quaker Hill Lane. He was charged with Driving under the influence, first offense; and Refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Austin Anthony Gaudet, 20, of Middletown, was stopped at 12:52 a.m. near Mason Avenue and Pine Street. He was charged with Obstructing an officer. There was a warrant for his arrest.

Sept. 5

Dione Andrew Williams, 39, of Fall River, Mass., was stopped at Freeborn Street and Turnpike Avenue at 1:27 a.m. He was taken into custody on a warrant.
