Portsmouth Police Looking For Info About LSD Brownies
A patient was taken to the hospital after eating brownies purchased in Newport. The suspicion is the brownies were laced with LSD.

PORTSMOUTH, RI — Police responded to a home in Portsmouth on Aug. 18 for a possible drug overdose. One person was agitated and appeared to be hallucinating, police said. The other person said the brownies may have been laced with LSD. That person told police they had bought the brownies in Newport.
Police said they were putting out the information to alert people. They also are looking for information about the possibly LSD-laced brownies. Anyone with knowledge is asked to call police at 401-683-0994.
