Portsmouth Police Searching for Youth Explorers

The Portsmouth Police Department is looking for children and young adults aged 12 to 21 to participate in their Police Explorer's program.

Meetings are held weekly and explorers help the police by attending parades and other town functions in addition to getting a taste of actual law enforcement work.

The program is ideal for a young person interested in a career in law enforcement.

Boys and girls are encouraged to apply and both male and female officers participate.
