Portsmouth Police: Suspicious Van Turns Out To Be Lost Workmen

PORTSMOUTH, RI —Police found a white van that was considered suspicious after the occupants attempted to speak to a youngster headed to the bus stop. The men were driving around 7:30 a.m. in the area of Windward Drive and Linda Avenue. Police located them in the same area on Wednesday. They were workmen on a job for the first day, and they were lost. Police said the youngster did the right thing, and there was no danger.
