Portsmouth Resident Featured in Boston Newspaper

An engineer from Portsmouth was recently featured in The Boston Globe for his work with underwater vehicles. 

Sandy Takacs, 50, of Portsmouth discusses his work with autonomous underwater vehicles in the Boston newspaper's article. Takacs is currently testing undersea robots for Hydroid Inc., a company based in Bourne, MA. 

Autonomous undersea robots are helpful in locating suken wreckages, according to the article. One undersea robot helped find an Air France plane three years ago.
