Found Safe: Missing Connecticut Child
Aylin Hernandez was abducted from the scene of a double stabbing, police say. Her father is the suspect.

BRIDGEPORT, CT—A 6-year-old Bridgeport, Conn., child was taken early Friday morning from a bloody scene of domestic violence, police said.
They have issued an Amber Alert and say the child may be in danger.
The suspect is her father, Oscar Hernandez. They may be traveling in a silver Hyundai Sonata, with Connecticut plates AG91925. Police ask anyone with information to call 911.

According to Patch in Connecticut, her 26-year-old mother was found dead of stab wounds at the scene, and another woman is hospitalized, also with stab wounds, but expected to survive. Although police believe Hernandez is headed for The Bronx, Rhode Island police departments are also spreading the word. Smithfield and Portsmouth are among the departments to post the amber alert on social media.
