Video: Children's Book Author and Illustrator David Biedrzycki Visits Hathaway Elementary School
The students of Hathaway Elementary School received a special visit from a well-known author and illustrator Wednesday.
Children's book author and illustrator David Biedrzycki of Medfield, MA, paid a special visit to the on Wednesday.
Biedrzycki, whose books include "Who Will Be My Valentine This Year" and the children's series "Ace Lacewing, Bug Detective," spoke with children in several grade levels. Biedrzycki visits more than 70 schools each year, promoting literacy and creativity through his presentations.
As a school project, the students of Hathaway Elementary School have been reading Biedrzycki's books. Students receive a stamp for every book they read. The top five readers on Wednesday received an autographed copy of one of his books.
