VIDEO: Portsmouth Firefighters Learn How to Help Autistic Victims

Capt. Thomas Buckley of the Foxboro Fire Department gave a presentation Friday at the Portsmouth fire station.

Capt. Thomas Buckley of the Foxboro Fire Department says more firefighters should learn how to help autistic victims. 

"It's very important to have this training for firefighters because of the challenges that firefighters will encounter during calls with autistic adults and children," Buckley said. "Recently, the Centers for Disease Control came out with a new statistic that one in 88 children will be diagnosed with autism."
