Video: Portsmouth Students Say School Overreacted to Short Skirts, Jeans
Portsmouth High School students say the dress code is changing based on time of year.
Some students think the actions taken by school officials at the were "unfair."
On Friday, May 13, more than two dozen students were asked to return home and change their clothes. According to school officials, male students arrived wearing jeans, while female students wore very short skirts or dresses.
The school enforces a dress code for all semi-formal dances. The dress code can be found in the student handbook or by clicking .
