Video: Portsmouth Students Say School Overreacted to Short Skirts, Jeans

Some students think the actions taken by school officials at the were "unfair."

On Friday, May 13, more than two dozen students were asked to return home and change their clothes. According to school officials, male students arrived wearing jeans, while female students wore very short skirts or dresses.

The school enforces a dress code for all semi-formal dances. The dress code can be found in the student handbook or by clicking .

On Tuesday, we asked several Portsmouth High School students what they thought of the dress code and actions taken at the freshmore dance. To view what the students had to say, see the video at right.
