Vietnam Vets - Thanks for your service

Portsmouth will honor local Vietnam era Veterans on 11 November. Now is the time to identify yourselves to the Ceremony sponsors.

Portsmouth Vietnam Vets – Stand Up and Be Recognized!

Portsmouth VFW Post 5390 and American Legion Post 18 will conduct a Veterans Day Service on November 11, 2014. All Vietnam era veterans who served anytime from July 1, 1958 to May 7, 1975 who are a resident of Portsmouth or member of Portsmouth VFW Post 5390 and/or Portsmouth American Legion Post 18 will be honored with a certificate, proclamation and hat. Please send name, address, telephone number, e-mail address and dates of Vietnam service to NAMVETS2014@gmail.com

The Portsmouth Atlantic Compact website will be posting a special page of Vietnam-era photographs as a part of this celebration. If you have any photos of you or your family members in uniform or on duty during the 1958-1975 time frame, please e-mail them in to esmith@portsmouthatlantic.org . Include caption and/or name/year information. Note that these photos will be posted on a public website.
