Providence Man Charged With DUI After Crash: Cops

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested after a crash on Interstate 95 in Providence, police said.

Vladimir Guzman Abreu, 33, was arrested shortly after 1 a.m. Friday on charges of driving under the influence of liquor and refusal to submit to a chemical test, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Guzman Abreu was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released with a notice to appear in court, according to police.
