Woonsocket Man Arrested On Gun Charges: Cops

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Woonsocket man was pulled over in Providence and arrested on gun charges, police said.

Nelson Morales Marquez, 25, was stopped on Plainfield Street shortly before 1:30 a.m. Monday and arrested on charges of license or permit required for carrying a pistol and large capacity feeding devices prohibited, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Morales Marquez was processed at state police headquarters, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a notice to appear in court, according to police.
