Wanted Cranston Man Jailed: Cops (patch.com) β State police say a 38-year-old Cranston man wanted on warrants for receiving stolen goods and possessing a stolen vehicle was spotted walking on Charles Street in Providence and arrested Saturday afternoon. He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and then transferred to the Adult Correctional Institutions' men's intake facility.

Providence Woman Charged With DUI: Cops (patch.com) β State police report that a 35-year-old Providence woman was stopped on Valley Street in Providence early Sunday and charged with driving under the influence. She also faces a charge for refusing a chemical test, was arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released to a responsible adult with a future Sixth Division District Court date.

Central Falls Woman Charged With Driving On Suspended License: Cops (patch.com) β A Central Falls woman was arrested on Route 6 in Providence after state police said she was caught driving with a suspended license Sunday evening. She was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions as an alleged bail violator, underscoring ongoing enforcement on Providence-area highways.

Providence Amtrak station renovations leading to complaints from passengers (turnto10.com) β Renovations at Providence's Amtrak station have dragged on for nearly two years, and local riders say the work is making it harder to find seats, read schedule screens, and access basic amenities like working restrooms. Commuters to Boston report disjointed changes, cluttered waiting areas, and overgrown weeds outside. Amtrak has yet to respond publicly to the complaints.

Men's Soccer Plays to 1-1 Draw at Providence (goterriers.com) β A men's college soccer match in Providence ended in a 1β1 draw Monday night, as Boston University and the Providence College Friars traded second-half goals. Providence outshot BU and equalized late on a penalty, but neither side could break through again despite several late chances.
