Weiczorek was also arrested on a warrant charging him with failing to appear in court for a larceny case, the release said.

Weiczorek's arrest was the "result of an investigation by members of the Auto Theft Task Force," according to the release.

Weiczorek was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, then taken to Our Lady of Fatima Hospital in North Providence, "where he was presented as a Superior Court Probation violator and turned over to the custody of the Rhode Island Division of Sheriffs pending morning arraignment at Sixth Division District Court," the release said.
