Museum of Natural History and Planetarium

Children, ages 2-4 with parent or caregiver, will investigate the world around them as they sing, dance and discover in this monthly series at the <a href="https://www.providenceri.gov/museum/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Museum of Natural History and Planetarium</a> in Roger Williams Park. Takes place the first Friday of each month, October through June, from 10am-10:30am. Each session will contain age-appropriate stories, songs, poems and a craft related to the topic. Expose your preschool child to science and culture in a unique and stimulating museum setting!

Immerse yourself in a fun and creative atmosphere while painting your own unique&nbsp; masterpiece!
Recommended for ages 14 and up.
 ⏰ ARRIVAL TIME Our studio opens&nbsp;30 minutes prior&nbsp;to class time. We recommend arriving&nbsp;15–30 minutes early&nbsp;to find parking, grab a drink, and get settled.
Please note:&nbsp;If you arrive late, the artist may not be able to fill you in on the steps you missed, as they will be focused on guiding the rest of the class. If you arrive&nbsp;more than 20 minutes late,&nbsp;we kindly ask that you do not join the session. Late arrivals can be disruptive and may not have enough time to complete the painting. Unfortunately,&nbsp;we cannot offer refunds or reschedules&nbsp;for late arrivals.
 🚗 PARKING INFO Our studio is located at&nbsp;150 Main Street (rear entrance), Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and we have&nbsp;two FREE parking lots:
🚗 One directly attached to our entrance 🚗 A second lot just one building down on the same side of the street —&nbsp;clearly labeled
 🪑 WANT TO SIT WITH FRIENDS? If you purchased&nbsp;2 or more tickets in one transaction, we’ll automatically seat your group together.
If you booked&nbsp;separately&nbsp;but want to sit with someone, please include their&nbsp;first and last names&nbsp;in the “Additional Information / Order Notes” field during checkout.
 🔄 RESCHEDULING &amp; CANCELLATION POLICY All reservations are&nbsp;non-refundable.

Please wear comfortable, sturdy shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. This is a mild hike that includes some hills and uneven terrain. These FREE walks meets at the <a href="https://www.providenceri.gov/museum/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Museum of Natural History and Planetarium</a>. Step back in time to explore the Betsey Williams Cottage, built in 1773 and home to Roger Williams’ great-great-great granddaughters, Betsey and Rhoda Williams. Upon her death in 1871, Betsey Williams bequeathed the cottage and 102 acres of surrounding farmland to the city of Providence, which became the foundation of Roger Williams Park. 
Drop-in during these FREE open houses to learn about the Cottage’s history and its significance to Roger Williams Park. The open houses are FREE and open to the public. Presented by the <a href="https://www.providenceri.gov/museum/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Museum of Natural History and Planetarium</a>. The Betsey Williams Cottage is located near Roger Williams Park’s Elmwood Avenue entrance.
