The mini-horse was brought to the facility by long-time horse handler, Linda Cole of Kaseys Cast-a-Ways, a fun farm based in Port Jervis, New York and these great mini-horse visits are made specially by Centers Health Care, a major continuum of 45 nursing homes and rehabilitation centers throughout the northeast and Midwest.

"Our residents loved Cupid!" said Dolores Medina, Recreation Director at Bannister Center. "If you could just see their eyes open up when the mini-horse walked in, that was simply priceless."

The next scheduled Rhode Island visit by Linda and one of her mini-horses is September 27.
