Local NYLO Hotel Becomes Tapestry Collection By Hilton
Hotel's conversion gives guests a refreshingly uncommon travel experience
Dallas-based Prism Hotels and Resorts announced today that the NYLO Providence/Warwick hotel that it assumed management of in July has been converted into a Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel. Prism Hotels and Resorts’ President and CEO Steve Van made the announcement.
“Tapestry Collection is a brand that is truly special – like an original work of art,” said Van. “Each hotel allows guests to have a unique experience with the comfortable reliability of Hilton. We are proud to manage these incredible properties and for guests to experience these hotels for their commitment to uncommon experiences and the opportunity to weave their own story through travel.”
The NYLO Providence/Warwick is located just minutes away from Providence, Rhode Island and is the only boutique hotel in the market with loft styled guestrooms that offer river views of the Historic Pawtuxet River, soaring 10-foot ceilings, exposed brick and concrete. The Loft Restaurant and Lounge offers waterside dining with an outdoor patio available from May to October. The menu, which is seasonally inspired, changes four times a year and always includes Italian favorites and savory seafood dishes. The hotel is less than 10 minutes from the T.F. Green Airport and is conveniently located within walking distance of the Warwick Mall, and restaurants.

The hotel transformed both physically and experientially throughout the conversion process. The renovation scope involved light exterior upgrades with more extensive alterations to the interior public spaces, guestrooms and guest baths. In addition, significant technology enhancements were implemented to embrace Hilton brand commitments, including a new electronic key lock system.
Prism worked closely with the expertise of JF Capital Advisors, which serves as strategic advisor to the owner, to lead the hotel through the conversion.
