Massachusetts Man Arrested After 'Attempted' Traffic Stop: Cops

The Fall River man was later located in Providence, police said.

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Massachusetts man was arrested after an apparently unsuccessful "attempted" traffic stop, police said.

Diego Morillo Mosquea, 18, was arrested shortly after 11:30 p.m. Friday on a charge of reckless driving, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

"The arrest was the result of an attempted motor vehicle stop on Route 146 North, and Troopers subsequently locating the vehicle on Branch Avenue in the City of Providence," the release said.

Morillo Mosquea, a resident of Fall River, was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned and released with a Sixth Division District Court date, according to police.
