Shots Fired Near Lincoln Mall: Cops
"Preliminary information suggests this was not a random act of violence," police said.
LINCOLN, RI — Officers responded to reports of gunshots in the area of Lincoln Mall Tuesday night, police said.
Shortly before 9:45 p.m., officers "spoke with multiple individuals who reported hearing gunshots," the Lincoln Police Department said in a media release.

"At this time, there are no reported victims or injuries," the release said.
"Preliminary information suggests this was not a random act of violence, but rather an isolated incident involving individuals who were together at the time of the discharge," the release said. "All parties involved appear to have left the area prior to police arrival, and no victims have come forward, further supporting that this was not a random attack."
