Funded through the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training, the program provides participants with up to $20,000 to engage in key activities and move their startups closer to being investable. NEMIC advisors will help startups develop, solidify and test their business models.

NEMIC's Accelerator Program has a track record of success. Since its creation, NEMIC has advised and mentored 170+ startups to date. Our NEMIC fellows have raised more than $8.5 million for their startups.
The program is an intensive, 6-month, business accelerator geared towards Medical Technology (Med Tech) and Digital Health solutions.
Med Tech and Digital Health entrepreneurs have long faced challenges in the startup to commercialization process. The unknowns in this expensive and multidisciplinary process spans from clinical and market research, IP and regulations to financial planning, sales, and distribution. To successfully reach commercialization and deliver true value to patients and the healthcare system, these knowledge gaps require an extensive network of SMEs, KOLs, clinical leaders, and ultimately investors for commercialization. This program will accelerate and incubate startups who have innovative solutions in this new age of healthcare.
