Providence Man Accused Of Drunk Driving: 4 Times Legal Limit: Police Allege
State police allege the suspect's blood-alcohol level was 4 times the legal limit.

PROVIDENCE, RI—State police stopped a driver on Monday after hearing a call about an erratic operator near Broadway around 5:30 p.m. Troopers spotted the car at the corner of of Broadway and Pallas Street. Antonio Briones, 47, of Providence, was charged with:
- Driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs, first offense, .15 or greater, and
- Operating without a license.
State police allege the suspect's blood-alcohol level was 4 times the legal limit.
Briones was also cited for laned roadway violations and operating left of center. He was arraigned before a justice of the peace and released pending further court action, state police said.
