Providence Man Charged With Robberies In Pawtucket And Central Falls: Police

The Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force apprehended the Providence man, police said.

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was charged with committing robberies in Pawtucket and Central Falls, police said.

Armany Feliz Romero, 19, was arrested Tuesday by the Rhode Island State Police Violent Fugitive Task Force, the state police said in a media release.

Feliz Romero was arrested on a Pawtucket Police Department warrant charging him with assault with a dangerous weapon, first-degree robbery, breaking and entering, possession of a stolen vehicle and conspiracy, the release said.

Feliz Romero was also arrested on a Central Falls Police Department warrant charging him with robbery, felony assault with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, attempted larceny, license or permit for carrying a pistol, using a firearm while committing a crime of violence and disorderly conduct, according to the release.

"Mr. Romero was taken into custody without incident and turned over to members of the Central Falls Police Department," the release said.
