Providence Man Wanted On Fentanyl And Coke Charges Captured: Cops

The Providence man was also wanted for eluding the law, police said.

PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man wanted on cocaine and fentanyl charges was captured, police said.

Joseph Catoni, 30, was arrested shortly after 8:15 a.m. Friday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Cantoni was wanted on charges of manufacturing, selling or possessing with the intent to sell cocaine, manufacturing, selling or possessing with the intent to sell crack cocaine, manufacturing, selling or possessing with the intent to sell fentanyl, and eluding law enforcement in a high-speed pursuit, according to the release.

Cantoni was arrested after he was "located by Providence Police Department," the release said.

Catoni was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men's Intake Center, where he was held as a probation violator, according to the release.
