Providence Mayoral Debates This Week: When, Where And How To Watch
The Providence Rotary Club will host an afternoon debate, and WPRI will follow up with one in the evening. Here's what to know.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Primary election season is fast approaching in Rhode Island, and there are major, city-shifting elections on the docket in Providence.
Most notably among those is, of course, the mayoral election, which features Democrats Brett Smiley, Nirva LaFortune and Gonzalo Cuervo squaring off in the primary.
The candidates have been making the rounds at forums and debates across the city in the lead-up to the Sept. 13 primary, and two debates are on the calendar for this week as well.
