Providence Police Looking To Identify Hit-And-Run Suspect
Police are looking for the public's help in identifying the person who hit a three-year-old with his car then drove away.
PROVIDENCE, RI — Police are looking for the public's help in identifying the driver in a hit-and-run crash on Phebe Street that injured a three-year-old child. The crash happened around 12:45 p.m. on June 9.
The driver hit the child then drove away towards Admiral Street. The extent of the child's injuries are not known.
Photos from the Providence Traffic Bureau show a white, older-model Honda Civic. The driver is possibly a Hispanic man. Providence police said there was something orange on the back of the car, possibly a sticker or piece of tape.
