Wanted MA Man Arrested After Providence Traffic Stop: Cops
The Fall River man was wanted on charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A wanted Massachusetts man was arrested after he was pulled over in Providence, police said.
James Smith, 32, was stopped shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday on Raymond Street and arrested on a warrant charging him with simple assault and disorderly conduct, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.
"Smith was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed and later turned over to the Tiverton Police Department," the release said.
