Wanted Providence Man Caught After Crash: Cops
The Providence man was arrested and jailed, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A wanted Providence man was captured after a car crash, police said.
Diamontae Cole, 26, was arrested on a warrant charging him with failing to appear in court for a shoplifting case, the Rhode Island State Police said in. a media release.
Cole was apprehended shortly after 2:30 a.m. May 7 by state troopers responding to a crash on Interstate 95 in Providence, according to the release.

"Cole was transported to the Lincoln Woods Barracks, where he was processed and transported to the Adult Correctional Institution — Men's Intake Center," the release said.
