Providence Man Arrested On Gun And Cocaine Charges: Cops
The Providence man was arrested by the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force, police said.
PROVIDENCE, RI — A Providence man was arrested on firearm and cocaine charges, police said.
Julien Vasquez, 33, was arrested Thursday by the Rhode Island State Police High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area task force, the state police said in a media release.
Vasquez was charged with possession with the intent to deliver cocaine, possession of a firearm while committing a controlled substance violation, possession of a firearm by certain persons prohibited and large-capacity feeding devices prohibited, according to the release.

Vasquez was processed at the Lincoln Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace and taken to the Adult Correctional Institutions Intake Center, the release said.
