Police said Shyanne Boisvert was among a group of about 10 ATV and dirt bike riders who pulled a35-year-old woman from her car and beat her.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Providence police arrested a woman Thursday in connection to a brutal beating of another woman, who was attacked by a mob of ATV and dirt bikers.

Shyanne Boisvert, 24, of North Providence, was charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct in connection to the Aug. 3 attack on Valley Street. She's being held for the next session at 6th District Court.

Police said Boisvert was among a group of about 10 ATV and dirt bike riders who pulled a35-year-old woman from her car and beat her. Police told WPRI 12 News the victim honked her horn at the group after they blocked the intersection of Smith and Orms streets for two traffic light cycles. She then told officers she tried to drive away, but the group surrounded her, dragged her out of the car and repeatedly kicked and punched her while her 8-year-old daughter was in the car.
