• South Kingstown Woman Charged With Child Endangerment: Cops (patch.com) — State police say a South Kingstown woman was arrested in North Scituate on a child endangerment charge following an investigation by the Special Victims Unit. She was processed at state police headquarters, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released pending a future court date.
   

• Scituate School Committee OKs State Construction Filing (upriseri.com) — Scituate's School Committee has advanced a key Stage 1 school construction filing to the state and approved a new press box and concession stand for the high school athletic field. Officials also acknowledged bumpy opening-week bus service affecting about 100 students and reviewed a projected budget surplus, updated handbooks, and facility work at Hope Elementary, including roof and flooring improvements.
