North Scituate Man Charged With Making Crank And Obscene Phone Calls: Cops

NORTH SCITUATE, RI — A North Scituate man was charged with making crank and obscene phone calls, police said.

Joseph Boutin, 57, was located and arrested at his Plainfield Pike residence about 6:15 p.m. Sept. 7, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Boutin was processed at state police headquarters, arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with a court date, according to police.
