• It was a busy Tuesday night of high school sports in RI. Here's who won (providencejournal.com) — Smithfield and North Smithfield teams were busy Tuesday, with Smithfield falling 4-0 to Lincoln in soccer but sweeping Westerly 3-0 in another matchup, and North Smithfield dropping a 3-1 decision to Toll Gate. The roundup also lists many upcoming games, including East Greenwich at Smithfield and Moses Brown at Smithfield, giving local fans plenty of chances to catch home action soon.
