Barn Destroyed by Flames on Eagleville Road [VIDEO]

A barn at 1710 Eagleville Road in Tiverton was fully destroyed by a fire on Friday night. The call came in at approximately 6:15 p.m.

Lt. Bruce Riemels said when they arrived on scene, running a hose up the driveway, there was a 20-foot by 10-foot barn fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters knocked down the fire in 10 minutes and had it under control, he said.

Riemels noted there were some animals in the back of the barn in the pen area.

The cause remains under investigation. Fire and rescue crews from , , Fall River and Westport responded.
