Tiverton Once Had State's Highest Powerball Sales Per Capita

Following up on Tuesday's announcement of the , WPRI released a financial report from the Rhode Island Lottery that showed Tiverton ranks first in the state for lottery sales per capita.

The data, from 2010, records sales before neighboring Massachusetts began offering Powerball. 

When the latest Powerball Jackpot hit $250 million in early February, local convenience store owners that fewer people are crossing state lines to play in Tiverton.
