Time to mix up your walk and jog!

Feeling bored by your walk or jog? Think strength. While you are out running or walking think about what you can use around you to get in a bit of strength training and break up your routine.

Playgrounds make perfect spots for some chin ups on the monkey bars or decline push up off a swing. Park benches are perfect for push ups and tricep dips. Even walking low curbing makes for a great core workout and will help improve balance.

And it makes for a great family outing: While the kids are getting their fit on so can you!
