GMO SALMON COMING OUR WAY

Shortly, some of the nation’s largest grocers, including Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods, will announce that they won’t sell genetically engineered salmon.

The FDA,, is expected to give approval to the modified salmon, a salmon designed to grow abnormally fast and will be the first such animal approved for human consumption. It will not be required to be labeled as such.

 Hopefully, this will incite the nation to work even  harder than it has at required  labeling or eliminating genetically modified foods all together.  Whole foods has already announced that it would label all foods by 2018.

This type of food is coming our way.  Keep fighting for Labeling of genetically engineered foods!
