Tiverton Man Charged After Allegedly Threatening Sister's Life
The following arrest was supplied by the Tiverton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Tiverton man received domestic assault charges last week after he allegedly assaulted his sister, took her cell phone and threatened to kill her.
Joshua A. Jusseaume, 27, of 127 Furey Ave., Tiverton, was arrested by at 4:52 p.m., Friday, Jan. 20. He was charged with domestic simple assault and refusal to relinquish a cell phone.
Officers responded at 2:26 p.m. to the Furey Avenue residence for a report of a domestic in progress and met with a woman claiming to be the sister of Mr. Jusseaume, according to Lt. Patrick Jones. She alleged her brother came downstairs arguing about a vehicle, a 4-wheeler, that was given to her son as a gift from other family members.

The sister claimed her brother argued about the gift and during the argument, allegedly grabbed his sister by the chin and neck area. Jones said the sister then pushed Jusseaume away and attempted to call police. That's when Jusseaume allegedly took the phone from his sister and threw it to the ground. Jones said Jusseaume went back upstairs, then came back down and told his sister to get out of the house or "he was going to kill her."
Jones said Jusseaume left prior to police arriving, so they waited. Jusseaume reportedly returned at 4:27 p.m. and police took him into custody.
