First Aid and CPR Training

Class led by a Certified American Heart Association Instructor

Participants will learn essential skills for responding to medical emergencies, including:
•How to recognize Sudden Cardiac Arrest and perform high-quality chest compressions.
•How to recognize the early warning signs of a heart attack and manage the emergency until EMS arrives.
•How to identify the sudden symptoms of a stroke.
•Safe steps for assisting a person who is choking.
•Step-by-step use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) along with standard resuscitation techniques.
This event will take place in the Upper Hall at Amicable Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, located at 3736 Main Road, Tiverton.
