Children's Museum Fun, Knitting and Experiencing the Life of a Colonial
Families can play and learn all weekend for free at these fun and family friendly activities.
Learn how to knit, experience some history, be creative for dad and get outside to possibly win some prizes. There are many fun and free events this weekend.

Where/When: Providence Children’s Museum, 100 South Street, Providence, RI 6/10 5pm to 8pm
Why Go: The Museum is open free of charge from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, sponsored by MetLife Foundation (previously the 3rd Friday, according to the website, Metlife Family Friday is every Friday in June and July ). Stay out late and splash, play, explore and discover! From 5:30 - 7:30 PM, drop in to Discovery Studio, the Museum’s new open-ended art and science exploration space, and sample a selection of creative activities that will be offered throughout the summer.

Where/When: Pawtuxet Park, Narragansett Parkway, Warwick June 12th, 2011 at 2:30 pm
Why Go: Children are given staged tours through our Colonial Encampment. Experience Colonial life, cooking demos and Colonial fun and games. See friendly pirates and Royal Navy press crews in action.
