District Court: Dec. 9

The following actions were taken at the Second District Court in Newport on Thursday, Dec. 9

Two Tiverton cases were handled today in Second District Court for individuals driving on suspended linceses. The following information was provided solely based on court records.

  • Amy J. Paulantonio, 22, of 57 Walnut St., Apt. 2R, Tiverton, was ordered Thursday to pay $325 in court costs on or before Feb. 9. Paulantonio was arrested on Nov. 20 by and charged operating a motor vehicle after the license was suspended. She pleaded no contest to the charge and was ordered to pay court costs plus a $250 fine. The judge did not impose any further loss of license.
  • William Joseph Liebgott, 62, of 1165 Dwelly St., Fall River, MA, was ordered Thursday to pay court costs in the amount of $352 by Feb. 9. Liebgott was arrested by Tiverton police at the Route 24 weigh station on Nov. 17 and charged with driving with a suspended license. Liebgott pleaded no contest to the charge and was ordered to pay court costs plus a $250 fine. The judge ordered no further loss of license.
