Fall River Woman Allegedly Assaults Ex-Boyfriend in Parking Lot

charged a Fall River woman with assault and vandalism charges after she allegedly slapped, punched and scratched her ex-boyfriend in public.

Rebecca A. Levesque, 27, of 428 Snell St., Apt. 1, Fall River, was arrested at 5:48 p.m., Wednesday, March 7 at the Sip N' Dip at 499 Main Road. She was charged with domestic simple assault and domestic vandalism.

Officers responded to the parking lot of Sip N' Dip for a report of an assault. Upon arrival police encountered a woman, Levesque, and her former boyfriend arguing, said Lt. Patrick Jones. He said the two have a child in common.

Based on the investigation, Jones said the victim alleged Levesque ripped his cell phone out of the charger in his vehicle, slapped him in the face, punched him in the neck and scratched him in the stomach. Based on that, Levesque was taken into custody and charged.
