Fill This Space: Former Main Road Gas Station/Auto Repair Shop

While some businesses in Tiverton and Little Compton have been around for "as long as you can remember," many have closed their doors due to poor economic times or simply moved to a new location. But we want to know what businesses you think would thrive in our area and what empty storefront would provide the perfect location.

The vacant property at 785 Main Road, Tiverton, used to be a gas station and auto repair shop, although the pumps were removed years ago, according to Town Administrator Jim Goncalo. He said a builder currently occupies it, although the property has no signage of any business presently there.

The building next door was formerly a body shop and it was leased by the town for a short while to house Tiverton's contracted ambulance service. Most recently, it was an auto repair shop.
