Fingerprints Lead Police to Charge Tiverton Teen With B&E

nabbed a 17-year-old Tiverton man last week on a warrant for reportedly breaking and entering a home and stealing a video game system. The man was apprehended at 5:28 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 11, and received one count of felony breaking and entering a dwelling without consent.
Lt. Patrick Jones said a breaking and entering took place where it's alleged the 17-year-old broke into a home on Grand View Avenue and stole an Xbox and several video games. Jones said detectives were able to obtain fingerprints left on a window of the residence that positively identified the juvenile as the suspect.
Based on that, Jones said the teen was picked up on a warrant on Jan. 11 and transported to the training school.
